The role of the BRACED Fund Manager is to ensure that UK development assistance is used effectively, efficiently and appropriately and that BRACED delivers meaningful results for vulnerable people. Correspondingly, the Fund Manager has two functions that are directly linked to these two objectives. The first function is to ensure that recipients of UK development assistance are accountable for delivering on the agreed package of activities and results. The second is to support partners to adapt to the ever-changing operating context in order to deliver the expected results of their projects.

The BRACED Fund Manager is operated by KPMG East Africa in partnership with the Palladium Group. KPMG is a global professional services company with significant experience in development and climate change and Palladium is a major international development consultancy with extensive experience in sectors relevant to BRACED including agriculture, forestry, livelihoods and social protection.
