Concern will be attending the Paris COP to call for a fair and ambitious climate deal, including sufficient support from developed countries to help vulnerable communities build resilience to climate impacts.
Concern has produced a briefing which gives recommendations to the UNFCCC process and draws examples from our climate resilience programmes to show the kinds of successes that could be achieved with broader financial and policy support.
Concern will also be working at the COP in coalition with our European Alliance2015 partner agencies. Alliance2015 has produced a statement with the cost analysis of inaction at the Paris COP and a further set of recommendations for the UNFCCC process.
Alliance2015, in collaboration with the Government of Liechtenstein, will be organizing a side event entitled: Ensuring food and nutrition security in a changing climate through sustainable agriculture.
This will take place on 10th December, 16:45-18:15 in Observer Room 12
